Hi, welcome to my digital workspace! I am Ikramul Hossain Mondal, the founder and sole creator behind LazyByte Labs.

My journey into software development started directly out of academic necessity. As a postgraduate researcher at Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) completing my M.Tech in Energy Engineering, I spent years juggling complex engineering coursework, laboratory testing, and academic thesis writing. Like millions of students, I faced constant time management friction, exam stress, and formatting hurdles.

When preparing for university exams, I noticed a key flaw in existing study apps: standard countdown timers tell you how many days remain, but fail to track chapter-by-chapter syllabus completion progress. Without clarity on how much syllabus is remaining, countdowns only induce panic rather than actionable progress. Furthermore, most commercial apps are filled with intrusive ads or high subscription fees.

I built Exam Countdown & Study Planner to provide a zero-ad, syllabus-first productivity tool. Today, it helps over 27,000+ students organize their study schedules, Pomodoro sessions, and revision cycles across Android and Windows.

Similarly, to help students navigate complex university report guidelines, I founded ReportWriting.in—a free step-by-step tool that auto-formats cover pages, tables of contents, and project reports for Indian and international university requirements. To assist exam invigilators, I built the open-source Exam Hall Display Timer for large hall projectors.
